Stichtite cabochon weighing 45.65 carats and measuring 38.2x23.6mm set in an Argentium silver bezel, a form of silver with a higher silver content than Sterling. Argentium is resistant to tarnish making it easier to care for. The bail and beaded border is Sterling silver. This pendant measures over 2.25” from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant. Stichtite is found in only one place in the world, Tasmania, and was named after the manager of the mine where it was discovered. This is a very soft gemstone, it needs to be worn on a short chain to be protected from bumpimg into objects.
